39.21 - Do you not see that Allah sends down from the sky water and makes it to flow as springs in the earth; then He brings forth thereby vegetation of various colours, then they dry so that you see it turning yellow, then He makes it debris. Indeed, in that is a reminder for those who possess minds. 39.22 - So is one whose chest Allah has expanded to submission so that he is upon a light from his Lord (like the others)? So woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah; it is them who are in obvious misguidance. 39.23 - Allah has sent down the best of speech, a consistent and reiterating book, of which the skins of those who fear their Lord shudder, then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah, He guides thereby whom He wills; and one whom Allah misguides, for him there will be no guide. 39.24 - So is one who shields with his face the evil torture on the day of resurrection (like one who does not)? And it will be said to the unjust: Taste what you used to earn. 39.25 - Those before them denied, so the torture came upon them from where they did not perceive. 39.26 - And Allah made them taste the disgrace in the life of this world, and surely the torture of the hereafter is greater; if they only knew. 39.27 - And We have certainly struck for the people in this Quran of every example, perhaps they will remember. 39.28 - An Arabic Quran without any deviance, perhaps they will fear.. 39.29 - Allah has struck an example, a man owned by quarrelling partners, and (the example of) a man owned (exclusively) by one man, are they equal in example? Praise be to Allah. Rather most of them do not know. 39.30 - Indeed, you are to die; and indeed, they are to die.
