And those who believe in that which was sent down to you, and in that which was sent down before you, and of the hereafter they are certain. [Al Quran ; 2:4]
And when it is said to them: Believe as the people have believed, they say: Should we believe as the foolish have believed? Unquestionably, it is them who are the the foolish but they do not know. [Al Quran ; 2:13]
And when they meet those who have believed, they say: We believed; and when they are alone with their devils, they say: Indeed, we are with you, we were only mocking (them). [Al Quran ; 2:14]
Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, and when it illuminated what is around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness so they could not see. [Al Quran ; 2:17]
صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لاَ يَرْجِعُونَ (18)
Deaf, mute, blind, so they will not return. [Al Quran ; 2:18]
Or it is like a rain-laden cloud from the sky, within which is darkness and thunder and lightning, they put their fingers in their ears to keep out the thunderclap in dread of death. And Allah is encompassing the unbelievers. [Al Quran ; 2:19]
The lightning almost snatches away their sight; whenever it illuminates for them, they walk therein, but when darkness comes upon them, they stand. And had Allah willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their visions; indeed, Allah is over everything Capable. [Al Quran ; 2:20]

Who made for you the earth a bed and the sky a structure, and sent down from the sky water, and brought forth thereby all the plants produce, a provision for you. So do not make to Allah rivals while you know. [Al Quran ; 2:22]
And if you are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down to Our servant, then bring forth a sura like it and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. [Al Quran ; 2:23]
And if you do not do, and you will never be able to do, then fear the fire whose fuel is the people and the stones; prepared for the unbelievers. [Al Quran ; 2:24]
And give good tidings to those who have believed and done good deeds that for them are gardens beneath which rivers flow; whenever they are provided from it a provision of a planet produce, they will say: This is what was provided to us before. And they were given the like of it; and for them therein are purified spouses, and they are therein abiding. [Al Quran ; 2:25]
Indeed, Allah is not shy to strike an example that of a mosquito or what is above it; as for those who have believed, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who have disbelieved, they say: What did Allah want by this example? He misguides many thereby and He guides many thereby. And He does not misguide thereby except the disobedient. [Al Quran ; 2:26]
Those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it and sever what Allah has commanded to be joined, and make mischief in the land, those are the ones who are losers. [Al Quran ; 2:27]
How do you disbelieve in Allah and you were dead and He gave you life, then He will cause you to die, then He will give you life, then to Him you will return. [Al Quran ; 2:28]
It is He Who created for you all that which is in the earth, moreover He turned to the sky and formed them seven heavens, and He is, of everything, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:29]
And when your Lord said to the angels: I am going to place on earth a successor. They said: Will You place on it one who makes mischief therein and sheds blood, while we glorify with Your praise and sanctify You? He said: Indeed, I know what you do not know. [Al Quran ; 2:30]
And He taught Adam the names, all together, then He showed them to the angels; and He said: Tell me the names of those, if you should be truthful? [Al Quran ; 2:31]
He said: O Adam! Inform them of their names. And when he informed them of their names, He said: Did I not say to you that indeed, I know the unseen of the heavens and the earth and I know what you reveal and what you conceal. [Al Quran ; 2:33]
And when We said to the angels: Prostrate to Adam. And they all prostrated except Iblis. He refused and acted arrogantly, and he was among the unbelievers. [Al Quran ; 2:34]
And We said: O Adam! Dwell, you and your spouse, in the garden, and eat from it in abundance from wherever you will, and do not come near this tree, lest you be among the unjust. [Al Quran ; 2:35]
And the devil caused them to slip out of it and caused them to exit from the state in which they had been. And We said: Descend, some of you will be enemy to others; and for you on earth is a settlement and a provision for a time. [Al Quran ; 2:36]
We said: Descend from it all together. And when guidance comes to you from Me, then as for those who follow My guidance, then no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve. [Al Quran ; 2:38]
O sons of Israel! Remember My favour which I have bestowed upon you, and fulfil My covenant so that I fulfil your covenant. And of Me, you should be afraid. [Al Quran ; 2:40]

And believe in what I have sent down verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small; and of Me, be fearful. [Al Quran ; 2:41]
And fear a day when no soul will avail another in any thing, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be made to win. [Al Quran ; 2:48]
And when We saved you from the people of Firon, who subjected you to the worst of torture, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. And in that was a great trial from your Lord. [Al Quran ; 2:49]
And when Musa said to his people: O my people! Indeed, you have been unjust to yourselves by taking the calf, so repent to your Creator and kill yourself, which should be best for you with your Creator, so He accepted your repentance. Indeed, He is the Acceptor of repentance, the Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:54]
And when you said: O Musa! We will never believe you until we see Allah clearly; so the thunderbolt took you while you were looking on. [Al Quran ; 2:55]
And We made shade over you with the clouds, and We sent down to you sweet drink and quails, eat from the good things which We have provided you; and they did not do Us any injustice, but they used to do themselves injustice. [Al Quran ; 2:57]
And when We said: Enter this village and eat from it from wherever you will in abundance, and enter the gate while prostrating, and say: Forgive our sins. We will forgive you your sins and We will increase those who do good deeds. [Al Quran ; 2:58]
But those who did injustice changed (it) to a saying other than that which had been said to them, so We sent down upon those who did injustice a plague from the sky because they used to be disobedient. [Al Quran ; 2:59]
And when Musa prayed for water for his people, so We said: Strike with your staff the rock. And there gushed from it twelve springs, so every people knew its drinking place. Eat and drink from the provision of Allah and do not commit corruption in the land, making mischief. [Al Quran ; 2:60]

And when you said: O Musa! We cannot be patient over one food; so call upon your Lord to bring forth for us of what the earth grows of its herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions. He (Musa) said: Will you exchange that which is better for that which is less? Enter Egypt, and indeed, for you is what you asked for. And they were struck with humiliation and poverty, and they deserved the anger of Allah because they used to disbelieve in the signs of Allah, and they used to kill the prophets without right; that was because they disobeyed and they used to perpetrate. [Al Quran ; 2:61]
Indeed, those who have believed, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever have believed in Allah and the last day and done good deed, then they will have their reward from their Lord, and no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve. [Al Quran ; 2:62]
And when We took your covenant and lifted the Tur mount over you: Take what We have given you strongly and remember what is in it that perhaps you may fear. [Al Quran ; 2:63]
Then you turned away after that; but had it not been for the grace of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers. [Al Quran ; 2:64]
And when Musa said to his people: Allah commands you that you should slaughter a cow; they said: Do you take us in ridicule? He said: I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant. [Al Quran ; 2:67]
They said: Call upon your Lord to explain to us what it is. Musa said: He says it is a cow neither old nor too young but in between; so do what you are commanded. [Al Quran ; 2:68]
They said: Call upon your Lord to explain to us what is her colour. Musa said: He says she is a yellow cow; its colour is bright giving delight to the onlookers. [Al Quran ; 2:69]
They said: Call upon your Lord to explain to us what it is; indeed, the cows look alike to us. And indeed, if Allah wills, we will be guided. [Al Quran ; 2:70]
He (Musa) said: He says, it is a cow which does not plough the land, nor does it irrigate the tilth; (it is) sound and without a spot on it. They said: Now you have come with the truth. So they slaughtered it, though they almost did not. [Al Quran ; 2:71]
And We said: Strike him (the deceased) with part of it (the cow). Thus does Allah bring the dead to life and shows you His signs that perhaps you may understand. [Al Quran ; 2:73]
Then your hearts hardened after that, being like stones, or even harder. And indeed, there are some stones from which rivers burst forth, and indeed, there are some of them that split open then water comes out of them, and there are some of them which fall down from the fear of Allah. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. [Al Quran ; 2:74]
Do you hope that they would believe for you while a team of them used to hear the words of Allah, then distort it after they had understood it while they know? [Al Quran ; 2:75]
And when they meet those who have believed, they say: We have believed. And when some of them are alone with others; they say: Do you talk to them about what Allah has disclosed to you so they may argue with you about it before your Lord? So will you not understand? [Al Quran ; 2:76]
And woe to those who write the book with their hands then say: This is from Allah, in order to exchange it for a small price. So woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they earn. [Al Quran ; 2:79]
And they say: Fire will never touch us except for numbered days. Say: Have you received a covenant from Allah? For Allah will not change His covenant, or do you say about Allah what you do not know? [Al Quran ; 2:80]

And when We took a covenant from the sons of Israel that you do not worship (anyone) except Allah, and to the parents do good, and the relatives and the orphans and the needy, and you should say to the people good, and establish the prayer and pay Zakah (Alms). Then you turned away except a few of you while you were averting. [Al Quran ; 2:83]
And when We took a covenant from you that you do not shed your blood or evict yourselves from your homes. Then you ratified while you were witnessing. [Al Quran ; 2:84]
Then you are those who kill yourselves and evict a team from among you from their homes, backing against them in sin and perpetration. And if they come to you as prisoners of war, you ransom them, while their eviction is prohibited to you. So do you believe in part of the book and disbelieve in (other) part? Therefore the reward for those who do that among you is not but disgrace in the life of this world; and on the day of resurrection, they will be returned to the severest of torture. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. [Al Quran ; 2:85]
Those are the ones who bought the life of this world instead of the hereafter; so torture will not be lightened nor will they helped. [Al Quran ; 2:86]
And We gave Musa the book and caused the messengers after him to follow; and We gave Isa, the son of Mariam, proofs and supported him with the holy spirit. But is it not that whenever a messenger came to you with that which your souls do not desire, you acted arrogantly? So a team (of the messengers), you denied; and another team (of the messengers), you killed. [Al Quran ; 2:87]
And when there came to them a book from Allah verifying that which was with them while before that they used to seek victory against those who have disbelieved, but when there came to them that which they knew, they disbelieved in it; so the curse of Allah is upon the unbelievers. [Al Quran ; 2:89]
Miserable is the price for which they have sold their souls, that they disbelieve in what Allah has sent down, out of outrage that Allah would send down His favour upon whom He wills of His servants; so they deserved anger upon anger. And for the unbelievers, there will be a humiliating torture. [Al Quran ; 2:90]
And when it is said to them: Believe in what Allah has sent down, they said: We believe in what was sent down to us. And they disbelieve in what came after that while it is the truth verifying that which is with them. Say: Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are indeed believers? [Al Quran ; 2:91]
And when We took your covenant and raised Tur mount over you (saying): Take what We have given you with might and listen. They said: We heard and disobeyed; and they were made to imbibe the calf into their hearts by their disbelief. Say: Miserable is that which your belief commands you, if you should be believers. [Al Quran ; 2:93]
Say: If the home of the hereafter with Allah is especially for you other than the (rest of) the people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful. [Al Quran ; 2:94]
And you will find them most attached to life, and those who are polytheists; one of them hopes that he would be made to live a thousand years, but it will not remove him remove him the slightest from the torture that he could be granted long life. And Allah is Seeing of what they do. [Al Quran ; 2:96]
Say: Whoever is the enemy of Jibreel; for indeed, he brought it (Quran) down to your heart by the permission of Allah, verifying that which is before it, and a guidance and good tidings for the believers. [Al Quran ; 2:97]
Whoever is the enemy of Allah and His angels and His messengers and Jibreel and Mikaeel, then; then indeed, Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers. [Al Quran ; 2:98]
And when there came to them a messenger from Allah verifying that which is with them, a team from among those who were given the book ignored the book of Allah behind their backs as if they do not know. [Al Quran ; 2:101]
And they followed what the devils had recited before the kingdom of Sulaiman. And Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the devils have disbelieved; they teach the people magic and that which was sent down to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But they did not teach anyone until they had said: Indeed, we are only a trial; so do not disbelieve. And they (the people) learn from them the means to cause a separation between a person and his spouse; but they are not harming thereby anyone except with the permission of Allah. And they learn what harms them and does not benefit them. And they have certainly known that whoever bought it would have, in the hereafter, no share. And miserable is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew. [Al Quran ; 2:102]
O you who have believed! Do not say (to the messenger), take care of us. And say, wait for us (to comprehend the message) and listen. And for the unbelievers is a painful torture. [Al Quran ; 2:104]
Neither those who have disbelieved from among the people of the book nor the polytheists wish that some good should be sent down to you from your Lord. And Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the Possessor of mighty grace. [Al Quran ; 2:105]
Whatever We abolish of any sign or cause it to be forgotten, We bring one that is better than it or like it. Do you not know that Allah is over everything Capable? [Al Quran ; 2:106]
Do you not know that to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and that for you there is other than Allah no guardian or helper? [Al Quran ; 2:107]
Or you want to question your messenger, as Musa was questioned before? And whoever exchanges belief for unbelief, indeed, he has lost the even path. [Al Quran ; 2:108]
Many among the people of the book wish that they could turn you back after your belief to disbelief, out of envy from themselves after the truth has become apparent to them. So pardon and overlook until Allah brings His command; indeed Allah is over everything Capable. [Al Quran ; 2:109]
And establish the prayer and give Zakah (Alms), and whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is of what you do Seeing. [Al Quran ; 2:110]
And they said: None will enter the garden except one who is a Jew or a Christian. That is their wishful thinking. Say: Bring your evidence, if you should be truthful. [Al Quran ; 2:111]
Yes, whoever submits himself to Allah while doing good, then his reward is with his Lord, and no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve. [Al Quran ; 2:112]
And the Jews said: The Christians are not upon anything, and the Christians said: The Jews are not upon anything, while both of them recite the book. Likewise is said by those who do not know. And Allah will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that over which they used to disagree. [Al Quran ; 2:113]
And who is more unjust than one who prevents His name from being mentioned in the mosques of Allah and strives to ruin it? It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is a disgrace, and for them in the hereafter is a great torture. [Al Quran ; 2:114]
And they say: Allah has taken a son. Glory be to Him, rather to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are to Him obedient. [Al Quran ; 2:116]
And those who do not know say: Why does not Allah speak to us or a sign comes to us? Likewise was said by those before them; their hearts are alike. We have explained the signs to a people who are certain. [Al Quran ; 2:118]
Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and as a warner, and you will not be questioned concerning the companions of the hellfire. [Al Quran ; 2:119]
And never will the Jews be pleased with you nor the Christians until you follow their faith. Say: Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the guidance. And if you follow their desires after what has come to you of the knowledge, you would have against Allah no guardian or helper. [Al Quran ; 2:120]

Those to whom We have given the book recite it with its true recital, they are the ones who believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it, then those are the ones who are the losers. [Al Quran ; 2:121]
And fear a day when a soul will not avail a thing from another soul, and no compensation will be accepted from it, nor will any intercession benefit it, nor will they be helped. [Al Quran ; 2:123]
And when Ibrahim was tried by His Lord with words, he fulfilled them. He (Allah) said: I will make you for the people a leader. He (Ibrahim) said: And of my descendants? He said: My covenant does not cover the unjust. [Al Quran ; 2:124]
And when We made the house a place of return for the people and a (place of) security. And take the standing place of Ibrahim as a place of prayer. And We took a covenant from Ibrahim and Ismail: Purify My house for those who circulate around it and those who stay in it for worship and those who bow down and prostrate. [Al Quran ; 2:125]
And when Ibrahim said: My Lord! Make it a secure city and provide its people from the produce of the plants, for whoever believes in Allah and the last day. He (Allah) said: And whoever disbelieves, I will give him enjoyment for a little, then I will force him into the torture of the fire; and miserable is the destination. [Al Quran ; 2:126]
And when Ibrahim and Ismail raised the foundations of the house (saying): Our Lord! Accept from us; indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:127]
Our Lord! And make us submitters to You and from our descendants a submitting nation to You, and show us our way of worship and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:128]
Our Lord! And send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your signs and teach them the book and wisdom, and purify them. Indeed You are the Mighty, the Wise. [Al Quran ; 2:129]
And none would be averse to the religion of Ibrahim except one who makes a fool of himself. And We chose him in this world, and in the hereafter he will be from among the righteous. [Al Quran ; 2:130]
And Ibrahim instructed his sons and Yaqoub: O my sons! Indeed, Allah has chosen for you the religion, so do not die except while you are submitters. [Al Quran ; 2:132]
Or were you witnesses when death came to Yaqoub, when he said to his sons: What will you worship after me? They said: We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq, one God, and to Him we are submitters. [Al Quran ; 2:133]
That is a nation which has passed on; for it is what it earned, and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be questioned about what they used to do. [Al Quran ; 2:134]
And they said: Be a Jew or a Christian, you will be guided. Say: Rather, the religion of Ibrahim, the upright , and he was not among the polytheists. [Al Quran ; 2:135]
Say: We have believed in Allah and in that which had been sent down to us, and in that which was sent down to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and in that which was given to Musa and Isa, and in that which was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not make any distinction between any of them. And to Him, we are submitters. [Al Quran ; 2:136]
And if they believe in the same as you believe, then they have been guided; and if they turn back, then they are in dissension, and Allah will suffice you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:137]
Say: Do you argue with us about Allah, and He is our Lord and your Lord, and for us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And to Him, we are sincere. [Al Quran ; 2:139]
Or do you say that Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do you know better or Allah? And who is more unjust than one who conceals a testimony that he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do. [Al Quran ; 2:140]

That is a nation which has passed on; for it is what it earned, and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be questioned about what they used to do. [Al Quran ; 2:141]
The fools among the people say: What has turned them from their direction of prayer which they faced in the past? Say: To Allah belongs the east and the west; He guides whom He wills to a straight path. [Al Quran ; 2:142]
And thus We have made you a moderate nation that you may be witnesses over the people, and the messenger may be a witness over you; and We did not make the direction pf prayer which you faced in the past except that We make evident one who follows the messenger from one who turns back upon his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided; and Allah will never waste your faith. Indeed, Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:143]
We have certainly seen the turning of your face to the sky, and We will turn you to a direction of prayer by which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward the sacred mosque, and wherever you are, turn your face toward its direction. And indeed, those who were given the book know that it is the truth from their Lord; and Allah is not unaware of what they do. [Al Quran ; 2:144]
And if you came to those who were given the book with every sign, they would not follow your direction of prayer, nor will you be a follower of their direction of prayer, nor would they be followers of one another's direction of prayer. And if you follow their desires after what has come to you of the knowledge, indeed, you would then be among the unjust. [Al Quran ; 2:145]
Those to whom We have given the book recognize him (Muhammed) as they recognize their sons, and indeed a party of them conceal the truth while they know. [Al Quran ; 2:146]
And for every direction (of prayer), He is the One Who sanctions it, so keep the good wherever you are, Allah will bring you all together; indeed, Allah is over everything Capable. [Al Quran ; 2:148]
And from wherever you go out, turn your face toward the sacred mosque; and indeed, it is the truth from your Lord; and Allah is not unaware of what you do. [Al Quran ; 2:149]
And from wherever you go out, turn your face toward the sacred mosque direction; and wherever you are turn your faces toward its direction in order that the people will not have any argument against you except the unjust from among them. And do not fear them, and fear Me. And so I may complete My favour upon you and that you may be guided. [Al Quran ; 2:150]
Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our signs and purifying you and teaching you the book and wisdom and teaching you that which you did not know. [Al Quran ; 2:151]
among فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُواْ لِي وَلاَ تَكْفُرُونِ (152)
So remember Me, I will remember you, and give thanks to Me, and do not disbelieve. [Al Quran ; 2:152]
And We will surely test you with some fear and hunger, and loss in wealth and lives and produce of the plants. And give good tidings to the patient. [Al Quran ; 2:155]
Indeed, Safa and Marwa are among the rituals of Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the house or performs Ummrah (smaller pilgrimage), there should be no blame upon him if he walks between both of them (Safa and Marwa). And whoever volunteers good, then indeed, Allah is Grateful, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:158]
Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of proofs and guidance after We explained it for the people in the book, those are cursed by Allah, and cursed by those who curse. [Al Quran ; 2:159]
Except those who repent and amend and explain, then for those, I will accept their repentance. And I am the Acceptor of repentance, the Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:160]

Indeed, those who have disbelieved and died while they are unbelievers; upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and all the people. [Al Quran ; 2:161]
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in the sea with that which benefits the people, and what Allah sends down from the sky of water so He gives life thereby to the land after its death, and dispensing therein of every creature, and the directing of the winds, and the clouds which is subjected between the sky and the earth, are signs for a people who understand. [Al Quran ; 2:164]
And among the people are those who take for themselves other than Allah equals (to Him), whom they love as they love Allah, and those who have believed are stronger in love for Allah. And if those who act unjustly had witnessed when they are made to see the torture that all the power belongs to Allah, and that Allah is severe in torture. [Al Quran ; 2:165]
When those who were followed will disown those who followed, and they (all) saw the torture and their ties (between them) were severed. [Al Quran ; 2:166]
And those who followed will say: Had there been for us another turn, then we would disown them as they have disowned us. Thus will Allah show them their deeds; regrets are upon them, and they will not be exiting from the fire. [Al Quran ; 2:167]
O people! Eat from the lawful and good of whatever is in the earth, and do not follow the footsteps of the devil; indeed, he is to you an obvious enemy. [Al Quran ; 2:168]
And when it is said to them: Follow what Allah has sent down, they say: Rather, we should follow that to which we are accustomed by our fathers. Even though their fathers do not understand a thing nor do they follow the guidance. [Al Quran ; 2:170]
And an example of those who have disbelieved is like the example of one who shouts with what is not heard except calls and cries. Deaf; mute; blind; so they do not understand. [Al Quran ; 2:171]
O you who have believed! Eat from the good of what We have provided for you, and give thanks to Allah if it is Him Whom you worship. [Al Quran ; 2:172]
He has only prohibited to you are the dead, and the blood, and the meat of swine, and that which is scarified in other (names) than Allah. And whoever is forced without desiring (it) nor transgressing, then no sin will be upon him; indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:173]
Indeed, those who conceal what Allah has sent down of the book, and exchange for it a small price, those are the ones who eat not into their bellies except fire; and Allah will not speak to them on the day of resurrection, nor will He purify them. And for them is a painful torture. [Al Quran ; 2:174]
Those are the ones who exchanged guidance for misguidance, and forgiveness for torture. How patient they are going to be for the fire. [Al Quran ; 2:175]
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east and the west, but righteousness is by one who believes in Allah and the last day and the angels and the book and the prophets, and happily gives wealth to the relatives and the orphans and the needy and the traveler and those who ask, and to free the slaves, and who establishes the prayer and pays Zakah (Alms); and the ones who fulfill their covenant when they take a covenant, and those who are patient in hardship and tribulation; and during hardship those are the ones who are truthful, and those are the pious. [Al Quran ; 2:177]
O you who have believed! Legal retribution is ordained upon you concerning those who are killed, the free for the free, and the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. And whoever (the perpetrator) is pardoned in anything concerning his brother (the victim), then there should be a follow-up and payment to him (the victim) in kindness. This is alleviation from your Lord and a mercy. And whoever perpetrates after that, then for him is a painful torture. [Al Quran ; 2:178]
It is ordained upon you, when death comes to one of you, if he leaves behind a good will; it has to be for the parents and the relatives in kindness. A duty upon the pious. [Al Quran ; 2:180] Checked on 14/10/2007 Checked on 05/11/2009 Checked on 21/11/2009

And whoever fears from a testator wrong-doing or a sin, then make peace between them, and no sin will be upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:182]
Counted days (the month of Ramadan); and whoever among you is sick or in a journey, then a counted number of other days; and as for those who are able to fast it (but they did not) is a ransom of feeding one who is needy; and whoever volunteers to do it seeking goodness, then it is good for him; and if you fast, good for you if you only knew. [Al Quran ; 2:184]
The month of Ramadan is that in which the Quran was sent down , a guidance for the people and proofs of guidance and criterion; so whoever among you witnesses the month, then he should fast it, and whoever is sick or in a journey, then a counted number of other days. Allah wants for you easiness and does not want for you difficulty; and you should complete the count and you should magnify Allah for that to which He has guided you, and that you may give thanks. [Al Quran ; 2:185]
And when My servants ask you about Me, then indeed, I am near, I answer the calls of the supplicant when he calls upon Me, so they should listen to Me and believe in Me that they may be mature. [Al Quran ; 2:186]
It is made lawful for you on the night of fasting to approach your women; they are apparel for you and you are apparel for them; Allah knew that you used to act unjustly to yourselves, so He has accepted your repentance and pardoned you. So now, approach them and seek what Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread becomes distinguishable to you from the black thread at dawn; then complete the fast until the night. And do not approach them while you are seeking devotion in the mosques; these are the limits of Allah, so do not go near (violating) them. Thus does Allah explain His signs to the people that they may fear. [Al Quran ; 2:187]
And do not eat your wealth among yourselves unjustly or deploy it to get close to the rulers in order that you may eat the wealth of the people in sin while you know. [Al Quran ; 2:188]
They ask you about the crescents. Say: It is times for the people and for pilgrimage; and it is not righteousness to enter the houses from their rears, but righteousness is by one who fears and enters the houses from their doors. And fear Allah that you may succeed. [Al Quran ; 2:189]
And kill them wherever you confront them, and expel them from wherever they expelled you; and discord (between yourself) is worse than murder. And do not fight them at the sacred mosque until they fight you therein; and if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the reward of the unbelievers. [Al Quran ; 2:191]
And fight them until there is no discord and the religion is for Allah, but if they stop, then there should be no transgression except against the unjust. [Al Quran ; 2:193]
The sacred month for the sacred month, and for all violations are legal retribution; so whoever inflicts damage to you, then inflict damage to him in the same way he has inflicted damage to you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear. [Al Quran ; 2:194]
And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw yourselves with your hands into destruction, and do good; indeed, Allah loves the ones who do good. [Al Quran ; 2:195]
And complete the pilgrimage and Ummrah (smaller pilgrimage) for Allah, but if you are prevented, then whatever is obtained by ease of offerings; and do not shave your heads until what you offered has reached its place of offering. And whoever among you is sick or has an ailment of his head, a ransom of fasting or alms or offering. And when you are secure, for whoever performs Ummrah followed by pilgrimage, then whatever is obtained by ease of offerings. And whoever cannot find (an offering) then fasting for three days during pilgrimage and for seven days when you return; those are ten complete (days). That is for him, whose family is not present in the sacred mosque. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is severe in punishment. [Al Quran ; 2:196]
The pilgrimage is known months, so whoever undertakes therein the performance of the pilgrimage, there should be no approach (to women) nor wickedness nor dispute during pilgrimage. And whatever good you do, Allah knows it. And take provisions; indeed, the best provision is the fear and fear Me, O those who possess minds. [Al Quran ; 2:197]
There should be no blame upon you for seeking a favour from your Lord, so when you depart from mount Arafat, then remember Allah near the sacred monument, and remember Him as He has guided you. And indeed, you were before that from among the misguided. [Al Quran ; 2:198]
And when you have completed your rites, then remember Allah as you remember your fathers, or with greater remembrance. And among the people is one who says: Our Lord! Give us in this world. And he will have in the hereafter no portion. [Al Quran ; 2:200]

And among them are those who say: Our Lord! Give us in this life good and in the hereafter good, and protect us from the torture of the fire. [Al Quran ; 2:201]
And remember Allah in counted days. And whoever hastens in two days, then no sin will be upon him. And whoever delays, then there no sin will be upon him, for him who fears. And fear Allah and know that to Him you will be gathered. [Al Quran ; 2:203]
And among the people is one whose saying pleases you in the life of this world, and calls Allah to witness what is in his heart while he is the most contentious of opponents. [Al Quran ; 2:204]
And when he goes away, he walks in the land to make mischief therein, and destroys the crops and lives. And Allah does not love mischief. [Al Quran ; 2:205]
And when it is said to him, fear Allah; he is taken by pride in sin, so sufficient for him is hell; and miserable is the resting place. [Al Quran ; 2:206]
O you who have believed! Enter into submission all, and do not follow the footsteps of the devil; indeed, he is to you an obvious enemy. [Al Quran ; 2:208]
Do they wait except that Allah comes to them in the covers of the clouds and the angels and the matter is decided? And to Allah, all matters are returned. [Al Quran ; 2:210]
Ask the sons of Israel, how many have We given them of a clear sign? And whoever changes the favour of Allah after it has come to him, then indeed, Allah is severe in punishment. [Al Quran ; 2:211]
Decorated for those who have disbelieved is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who have believed. And those who have feared will be above them on the day of resurrection. And Allah provides for whom He wills without measure. [Al Quran ; 2:212]
The people were a single nation; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and as warners, and He sent down with them the book in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they disagreed; and none disagreed over it except those to whom it was given after the signs had come to them out of animosity between themselves. And Allah guided those who have believed to the truth concerning that in which they disagreed. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path. [Al Quran ; 2:213]
Or do you think that you will enter the garden while you do not receive the like of what those who have passed on before you received? Hardship and tribulation touched them and they were shaken until the messenger and those who have believed with him said: When will the help of Allah come? Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near. [Al Quran ; 2:214]
They ask you, what they should spend. Say: Whatever you spend of good is for the parents and the relatives and the orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good, indeed, Allah is, of it, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:215]
Fighting is ordained upon you while it is hateful to you; and perhaps that you dislike something while it is good for you and perhaps that you love something while it is evil for you. And Allah knows and you do not know. [Al Quran ; 2:216]
They ask you about the sacred month, about fighting therein. Say: Fighting therein is great and hindering from the way of Allah and disbelieving in Him, and (in) the sacred mosque by forcing its people out of it are greater (sin) with Allah. And discord is greater (in sin) than killing; and they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they could. And whoever among you turns back from his religion and dies while he is an unbeliever, then those are the ones whose deeds will be nullified in this life and the hereafter; and they are the companions of the fire, they will be therein abiding. [Al Quran ; 2:217]
Indeed, those who have believed and those who have emigrated and strived in the way of Allah, they hope for the mercy of Allah. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:218]
They ask you about wine and gambling. Say: In them is great sin and benefits for the people, and its sin is greater than its benefit. And they ask you, what they should spend. Say: Pardoning (others). Thus does Allah explain to you the signs that perhaps you ponder - [Al Quran ; 2:219]
- about this world and the hereafter. And they ask you about the orphans. Say: Amending for them is best, and if you mix with them, then they are your brothers. And Allah knows the mischief maker from the doer of good. And had Allah willed, He would have put you in hardship. Indeed, Allah is Mighty, Wise. [Al Quran ; 2:220]

And do not marry women who are polytheists until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than she who is a polytheist, even if you are attracted to her. And do not marry men who are polytheists until they believe. And a believing slave man is better than he who is a polytheist, even if you are attracted to him. Those invite to the fire, and Allah invites to the garden and forgiveness by His permission. And He explains His signs to the people that perhaps they remember. [Al Quran ; 2:221]
And they ask you about menstruation. Say: It is harm, so stay away from women during menstruation, and do not go near them until they are pure; and when they have purified themselves, then approach them from where Allah has commanded you. Indeed, Allah loves those who are repentant and loves those who purify themselves. [Al Quran ; 2:222]
Your wives are a place of cultivation for you, so approach your place of cultivation however you will and put forth (good deeds) for yourselves, and fear Allah and know that you will meet Him. And give good news to the believers. [Al Quran ; 2:223]
And do not make Allah in your covenant as an excuse against being righteous and fearing and making peace between the people. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:224]
Allah does not hold you to account for what is vain in your oaths, but He will hold you to account for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing. [Al Quran ; 2:225]
For those who took an oath not to approach their wives, they should wait four months; and if they return, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. [Al Quran ; 2:226]
And the divorced women should wait for three periods; and it is not lawful for them that they conceal what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the last day. And their husbands have right to take them back in that period if they want reconciliation. And for them (the wives) is similar rights to what is expected of them. And for the men, they have a degree over them, and Allah is Mighty, Wise. [Al Quran ; 2:228]
Divorce is (allowed) twice, then (after that) keeping (her) lawfully or let (her) go in kindness. And it is not lawful for you to take any thing of what you have given them unless they fear that they will not establish the limits of Allah; so if you fear that they will not establish the limits of Allah, then there is no blame upon them for that by which she has sacrificed herself. These are the limits of Allah, so do not exceed it, and whoever exceeds the limits of Allah, then those are the unjust. [Al Quran ; 2:229]
And if he divorced her (for the third time), then she can not be lawful to him until she marries another husband; and if he (the other husband) divorces her, then there is no blame upon them to return to each other if they think that they can establish the limits of Allah. And these are the limits of Allah which He explains for a people who know. [Al Quran ; 2:230]
And if you have divorced the women and they reached their specified time (three periods), then either keep them lawfully or let them go in kindness; and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress. And whoever does that, then he has done unjust to his own soul. And do not take signs of Allah for a mockery, and remember the favour of Allah upon you, and (remember) that which He has sent down to you of the book and wisdom by which He admonishes you. And fear Allah and know that Allah of everything is Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:231]
And if you have divorced the women and they reached their specified time (three periods), then do not prevent them from marrying their husbands (other husbands) when they agree among themselves lawfully. That how what you are admonished, for whoever among you who believes in Allah and the last day. That is better for you and purer; and Allah knows and you do not know. [Al Quran ; 2:232]
And the mothers should breastfeed their children for two complete years, for whoever wants to complete the time of breastfeeding. And upon him (the father) who had a begotten child, is their maintenance and their clothing lawfully; We do not impose upon a soul except its capacity. A mother should not be harmed by her child, nor him (the father) who had a begotten child should be harmed by his child; and upon the (father's) heir is a similar duty, but if both desire weaning by mutual consent and counsel, then no blame is upon them, and if you wish to engage others to breastfeed your children, then no blame is upon you as long as you deliver what you promised in kindness. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Seeing of what you do. [Al Quran ; 2:233]
And those who die among you and leave wives behind, they (the wives) should wait for four months and ten (days); and if they have reached their specified time, then no blame is upon you for what they did with themselves lawfully. And Allah of what you do is Acquainted. [Al Quran ; 2:234]
And no blame is upon you concerning that which you talk publicly about engagement of women, or conceal within yourselves; Allah knows that you will mention them, but do not meet them in secret except that you say a lawful saying. And do not intend the marriage contract until the book (of marriage) reaches its specified time; and know that Allah knows what is in yourselves, so beware of Him. And know that Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing. [Al Quran ; 2:235]
No blame is upon you if you divorce the women when you have not touched them nor specified for them an obligation, and make provision for them, for the generous, according to his ability, and for the straitened, according to his ability, a lawful provision; a duty upon those who do good. [Al Quran ; 2:236]
And if you divorce them before you have touched them and you have for them an obligation, then half of what you have specified (for them), except that they pardon or the one whose hand is controlling the marriage contract pardons. And if you pardon, it is nearer to piousness; and do not forget graciousness between you. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of what you do. [Al Quran ; 2:237]
But if you fear (the enemy), then (pray) while walking or while riding; and when you feel secure, then remember Allah, as He has taught you that which you did not know. [Al Quran ; 2:239]
And those who die among you and leave wives behind, a will for their wives, a provision for a year without evicting (them), but if they leave (the house), then no blame upon you for what they did with themselves lawfully, and Allah is Mighty, Wise. [Al Quran ; 2:240]

Have you not seen those who left from their homes in thousands, fearing death? And Allah said to them: Die. Then He gave them life. Indeed, Allah is surely the Possessor of grace upon the people but most of the people do not give thanks. [Al Quran ; 2:243]
Who is the one who would lend Allah a goodly loan so He will multiplies it for him many times? And Allah withholds and grants (provision); and to Him you will be returned. [Al Quran ; 2:245]
Have you not seen the chiefs of the sons of Israel after Musa, when they said to a prophet of theirs: Appoint for us a king in order to fight in the way of Allah; he said: May it not be that you would not fight if fighting is ordained upon you? They said: And why should we not fight in the way of Allah, and we and our children have been evicted from our homes? And when fighting was ordained upon them, they turned away except a few of them. And Allah is Knowing of the unjust. [Al Quran ; 2:246]
And their prophet said to them: Allah has sent to you Talut as a king. They said: How can he have the kingdom upon us while we have more right to the kingdom than him, and he was not granted an abundance of wealth? He said: Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you, and increased him abundantly in knowledge and in body. And Allah grants His kingdom to whom He wills, and Allah is Vast, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:247]
And their prophet said to them: The sign of his kingdom is that the chest will come to you in which there is peace from your Lord and remnant of what the family of Musa and the family of Harun had left, carried by the angels. Indeed, in that is a sign for you, if you are believers. [Al Quran ; 2:248]
And when Talut set forth with the soldiers, he said: Allah will be testing you with a river, so whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is of me, except one who takes a little with his hand; and they drank from it except a few; and when he had crossed it along with those who have believed with him, they said: We have no power today against Jalut and his soldiers. Those who think that they will be meeting Allah said: Indeed, how many a small party has defeated a large party with the permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient. [Al Quran ; 2:249]
And when they went to face Jalut and his soldiers, they said: Our Lord, pour upon us patience and make firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people. [Al Quran ; 2:250]
And they defeated them with the permission of Allah, and Dawood killed Jalut, and Allah gave him the kingdom and wisdom and taught him of that which He wills. And were it not for the repelling of Allah of some of the people by others, the land would have been corrupted; but Allah is the Possessor of grace upon the worlds. [Al Quran ; 2:251]
Those messengers, some of them We have preferred over others. Among them are those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degrees. And We gave Isa son of Mariam clear proofs and supported him with the holy spirit. And if Allah had willed, those after them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they disagreed, so some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought, but Allah does what He wants. [Al Quran ; 2:253]
O you who have believed! Spend from what We have provided for you before a day comes on which there will be no exchange and no friendship and no intercession. And the unbelievers are the unjust. [Al Quran ; 2:254]
(He is) Allah, there is no god except Him, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Subsisting. Neither slumber overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they can not encompass a thing of His knowledge except what He wills. His chair extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the High, the Great. [Al Quran ; 2:255]
There is no compulsion in the religion; indeed, the right course has become clear from wrong. So whoever disbelieves in the evil ones and believes in Allah, then he has certainly grasped the firmest handhold, no break in it. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:256]
Allah is the Guardian of those who have believed. He brings them out from darkness into the light. And those who have disbelieved, their guardians are the evil ones, they (the evil ones) take them out from the light into darkness. Those are the companions of the fire, they are therein abiding. [Al Quran ; 2:257]
Have you not seen the one who argued with Ibrahim about his Lord because Allah had given him the kingdom? When Ibrahim said: My Lord is the One Who gives life and causes death. He (the unbeliever) said: I give life and cause death. Ibrahim said: Indeed, Allah brings the sun from the east, so bring it from the west? So the one who disbelieved was bewildered; and Allah does not guide the unjust people. [Al Quran ; 2:258]
Or the like of him who passed by a village while its homes fallen into ruins. He said: How will Allah give this life after its death? So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years then resurrected him. He (Allah) said: How long have you remained? He (the man) said: I have remained a day or a part of a day. He (Allah) said: Rather, you have remained a hundred years. Look at your food and your drink, they have not changed. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign to the people. And look at the bones, how We set them together then cloth them with meat. And when it was obvious to him, he said: I know that Allah is over everything Capable. [Al Quran ; 2:259]
And when Ibrahim said: My Lord! Show me how You give life to the dead. He (Allah) said: Have you not believed? He (Ibrahim) said: Yes, but only so that my heart is assured. He (Allah) said: Get four from among the birds and train them to come to you. Then (after slaughtering them) place on every mountain a part of them then call them, they will come to you flying. And know that Allah is Mighty, Wise. [Al Quran ; 2:260]

A example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like the example of a grain that grew seven ears, in each ear a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies to whom He wills; and Allah is Vast, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:261]
Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and do not follow up what they have spent with proud or harm, for them is their reward with their Lord, and no fear will be upon them nor will they grieve. [Al Quran ; 2:262]
O you who have believed! Do not invalidate your charities by proud and harm, it would be like one who spends his wealth to be seen by the people while he does not believe in Allah and the last day. So his example is like the example of a smooth stone with dust on it which is struck by heavy rain that left it bare; they are not able to control a thing of what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. [Al Quran ; 2:264]
And an example of those who spend their wealth seeking the pleasures of Allah and assuring themselves is like the example of a garden on a high ground which is struck by heavy rain so it yields its harvest in double. And even if it is not struck by heavy rain then light rain would be enough. And Allah is Seeing of what you do. [Al Quran ; 2:265]
Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and vines beneath which rivers flow, for him therein are all kinds of plants produce; and ageing has struck him while he has weak offspring, then it (the garden) was hit by a whirlwind with fire so it burnt? Thus does Allah explain to you the signs that perhaps you ponder. [Al Quran ; 2:266]
O you who have believed! Spend from the good that you have earned and from what We have brought forth for you from the earth. And do not aim for what is bad from it, you spend while you would not take it (yourselves) except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Rich, Praised. [Al Quran ; 2:267]
The devil promises you with poverty and commands you with indecency, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Himself and grace; and Allah is Vast, Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:268]
He gives wisdom to whoever He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom, then he is certainly given abundant good. And none remembers except those who possess minds. [Al Quran ; 2:269]
If you give charities openly, then it is good, but if you conceal them while you give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your evil deeds. And Allah is of what you do Acquainted. [Al Quran ; 2:271]
Not upon you is their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills. And whatever you spend of good is for yourselves, and you do not spend it except seeking the pleasure of Allah. And whatever you spend of good, it will be fully paid back to you, and you are not going to be dealt with unjustly. [Al Quran ; 2:272]
For the poor who are restricted in the way of Allah, (and) can not travel in the land; the ignorant think of them to be rich due to their abstaining (from seeking help); you know them by their descriptions; they do not ask the people imploringly. And whatever you spend of good, then indeed, Allah is of it Knowing. [Al Quran ; 2:273]
Those who spend their wealth by night and by day, secretly and openly, then for them will be their reward from their Lord. And no fear will be upon them nor will they grieve. [Al Quran ; 2:274]
Those who eat usury, they cannot stand except as one standing whom the devil has beaten into madness. That is because they said: Trading is like usury. But Allah has made trading lawful and prohibited usury. And whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists, then he may have what has already passed and his affair rests with Allah. And whoever returns (to usury), then those are the companions of the fire, they are therein abiding. [Al Quran ; 2:275]
Indeed, those who have believed and done good deeds and established the prayer and paid Zakah (alms), they will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will be upon them nor will they grieve. [Al Quran ; 2:277]
